30380 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Resources: How many people are employed by New Zealand Petroleum and Minerals, if any?

Hon Shane Jones: As at 30 September 2023, the operational functions of my portfolio are supported by 66.5 FTE employed by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. The functions performed by these New Zealand Petroleum and Minerals staff include permitting, monitoring, compliance and Crown Mineral Estate information management services.
