30369 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Health: How, if at all, has the number of staff assigned to work out of the Head Office changed over the past 12 months for each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any?

Hon Simeon Brown: As part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, we have prioritised finding efficiencies within our health agencies to ensure a tight focus on the delivery of frontline care. I am advised that over the past 12 months, the number of Ministry staff assigned to work out of 133 Molesworth Street has decreased by 46, while the number for Health New Zealand has increased by 389.
