30365 (2023). Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport: Has he given a letter of expectation to the Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency Chair, and if so, what direction, if any, did it give on mode shift from private vehicles to public transport?

Hon Simeon Brown: On 11 December 2023, I wrote to the Acting Chair of NZ Transport Agency. This letter set out my initial expectations and priorities for the NZTA Board. The letter gave no directions with respect to mode shift.
