30338 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: How many children will have access to the expanded Enrich scheme?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that children in 525 Early Childhood Education services will have access to ENRICH over the next four years as a result of the funding provided by Government in Budget 2025. Individual ECE services vary in size, so an accurate number can not be provided, however this investment will not only benefit thousands of children who are attending these early childhood centres currently, but also all the children ENRICH trained teachers teach throughout their careers.
