30322 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: How many Priority One social housing placements were into Kāinga Ora housing and how many into community housing provider housing since January 2024, broken down by month?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Ministry of Social Development has advised that as at 31 May 2026, there have been 39 placements for Priority One clients into Community Housing Providers and 1,074 into Kāinga Ora since the Priority One Fast Track began in April 2024. The number of placements for Priority One clients into Community Housing Providers is consistently below six between April 2024 and May 2026, and therefore, the monthly breakdown is not provided for privacy reasons.
