30298 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: What is the Minister's definition of the "operational" boundary that distinguishes the Chief Executive's responsibility from his own accountability for the emergency housing target?

Hon Tama Potaka: Operational matters refer to the day-to-day management, administration, and execution of services. To protect the Ministry of Social Development from political interference, I do not involve myself in day-to-day operations or individual statutory decisions.
