Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: Further to reply 28731 (2026) and reply 28730 (2026), given that only 283 tenancies had commenced under the additional 300 places, how, if at all, does the Minister reconcile the 674 figure with the number of new tenancies the initiative itself has created?

Hon Tama Potaka: At the time of this question, 283 tenancies had commenced under the additional 300 Housing First allocation. The 674 figure given in response to WPQ 28731 includes the 283 tenancies through the additional 300 places, and the remainder through the contract capacity of providers.
