30270 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Resources: Has the Government engaged with Iwi on its agreement to repeal the ban on offshore oil and gas exploration; if not, why not; if so, when and with who, by date and group?

Hon Shane Jones: Removing the ban on offshore oil and gas exploration is a priority for the Government. Iwi and other stakeholders will have the opportunity to provide their views on the policy to remove the ban before any laws are amended.
