30268 (2026). Mike Davidson to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What is the number of Volunteers in the past 12 months that have completed live fire training and progressed to qualified firefighter rank, if any?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by Fire and Emergency New Zealand that during the 24/25 financial year, 187 firefighters successfully completed the Volunteer Qualified Firefighter programme and progressed to the Qualified Firefighter rank.
