30266 (2026). Mike Davidson to the Minister of Internal Affairs: Is the new Fire and Emergency New Zealand fault management system still on schedule for Phase One to launch on 30 October 2026?
Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by Fire and Emergency New Zealand that implementation of the new fault logging system, ServiceNow, is phased. This allows training, adoption, triage arrangements, and service-provider processes to be embedded. Phase one (the technical build) was completed by 30 June 2026. The system has been tested, including testing with operational users, and deployment commences in July 2026 with District-by-District onboarding and training. Implementation and rollout are due to be completed by December 2026.
