Celia Wade-Brown to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: What communication, if any, has the Minister had with her colleague, the Minister of Local Government, about the Tourism strategy system roles, especially leading "Marketing to New Zealanders to travel and attend events within New Zealand is undertaken by both local government (RTOs) and tourism businesses"?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister of Tourism and Hospitality, I regularly engage with my ministerial colleagues, including the Minister of Local Government, on a range of matters where there are overlaps between portfolios. This remains the case in relation to the Tourism Policy Statement and respective system roles.
