30254 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Resources: Does the Minister agree with the International Energy Agency, who said: "There is no need for investment in new fossil fuel supply," if not, why not?

Hon Shane Jones: Natural gas has a role in ensuring New Zealand has a stable and secure energy supply. Relying on importing fossil fuels and banning fossil fuel exploration is not the way to secure New Zealand’s energy supply.
