30234 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Energy: Will the Government make changes to the Vehicle Emissions and Energy Economy label, if so, what and when?

Hon Simeon Brown: Yes. Changes to Vehicle Emissions and Energy Economy labelling regulations are outlined in the Land Transport Act (Clean Vehicle Discount Scheme Repeal) Amendment Bill 2023, and are necessary to support axing the Ute Tax. EECA will deliver the revised vehicle emissions and energy economy labelling requirements from 1 January 2024.
