Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister of Climate Change: Will the Government scrap the Government Investment in Decarbonising Industry (GIDI) Fund, and if so, is the Minister comfortable with the ETS unit price reaching $200 a unit in order to enable decarbonisation projects that would only have proceeded with GIDI funding support?

Hon Simon Watts: The government will be closing the Government Investment in Decarbonising Industry Fund (GIDI), which has been subsidising already profitable businesses to reduce emissions.
