30197 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Housing: What is the number of staff assigned to work out of the Head Office for each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any?

Hon Chris Bishop: This information for the Ministery of Housing and Urban Development is answered this question in the pre-hearing questions for the 2025/26 Estimates Exam. This information is currently with the Social Services and Community Committee and its members for their consideration. It will be published online soon. Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities has head offices located in Wellington and Auckland. As at 31 May 2025, there were 534 staff assigned to work at the Wellington head office, and 721 staff were assigned to work in Auckland across two locations on Carlton Gore Road, Newmarket.
