30178 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Finance: How, if at all, has the number of staff assigned to work out of the Head Office changed over the past 12 months for each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any?

Hon Nicola Willis: As of 1 June 2025, the number staff based at The Treasury's head office at 1 The Terrace, Wellington, has decreased by 26 in the last 12 months. These numbers include permanent and fixed term staff, excluding those that are on extended leave or seconded out of the head office. Over the past 12 months there has been an increase of 4.1% in the number of staff assigned to work from RBNZ head office (from 533 total staff at 31 May 2024 to 555 staff at 31 May 2025).
