30174 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for the Environment: What is the number of staff assigned to work out of the Head Office for each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any?

Hon Penny Simmonds: The Ministry follows the Government Property Office’s guidance for leasing and utilisation of our property portfolio.  The 495 staff who work in Wellington are able to operate between the office and home, depending on the type of work that needs to be completed and their personal circumstances.   As at 31 May 2025, the Environmental Protection Authority has 213 staff primarily working from its one office.
