30172 (2023). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Will a regulatory impact statement be produced for any Bill which repeals section 7aa of the Oranga Tamariki Act, if not, why not?

Hon Karen Chhour: The production of Regulatory Impact Statements is the responsibility of the relevant agency. I commit to the following the Cabinet requirements as set out in Cabinet Office circular CO (20) 2 and would expect my agencies to do so as well.
