30151 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Conservation: How, if at all, has the number of staff assigned to work out of the Head Office changed over the past 12 months for each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any?

Hon Tama Potaka: As an operational Department, the Department of Conservation has offices across New Zealand, with less than one fifth of employees located in Conservation House, Wellington. The Department advises me that as at 31 May 2024, 501 staff had Conservation House, Wellington as their place of work, and as at 31 May 2025, this number was 545 staff.
