30150 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Finance: What advice, if any, has the Treasury provided on the fiscal risks of under-resourcing national cyber security functions?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Treasury has not provided direct advice on this matter. The Treasury provides the Minister of Finance with advice throughout the Budget process on appropriate resourcing levels and their impacts. Advice regarding the intelligence agencies is generally not releasable on national security grounds.
