30148 (2023). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: How many Constabulary Full Time Equivalents would need to graduate from the Royal New Zealand Police College per month in 2026 in order to maintain a ratio of one sworn Police Officer to every 480 people in New Zealand?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The level of growth required to sustain any given staff to population ratio depends on the level of population growth in that period. As this has not yet been determined for 2024, 2025 and 2026 it is not possible to provide an answer for this question. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 30151 and 30152 (2023).
