30132 (2023). Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister for Sport and Recreation: Does the Minister agree with his statement regarding his portfolio that, “it shouldn't be a highly political portfolio. It should just be a continuity portfolio where, you know, governments work together from different sides of the aisle. And I'm keen to keep that going,” and if so, does he intend to “amend the Sport and Recreation New Zealand Act to remove public funding from bodies that allow non-biological women to be selected unequally against biological women” as found on page 4 of the 2023 New Zealand First Party manifesto?
