30115 (2026). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Defence: What and who comprises the Investment Committee of the Organisational Governance Board?
Hon Chris Penk: The Investment Committee is a formal subcommittee of the Organisational Governance Board (OGB). On behalf of the OGB, the Committee undertakes activities such as: monitoring the progress and performance of the OGB approved investment portfolio; managing organisational risk in relation to investments; ensuring that integrated investment decisions align with the Military Strategy, Organisational Strategy and associated strategic plans; and providing advice and reporting to the OGB on effectiveness of delivery of investments in pursuit of OGB directed strategic effects.
The committee is made up of the following members and advisors:
• Vice Chief of the Defence Force (Chair)
• Chief Financial Officer (Deputy Chair)
• Chief of Navy
• Chief of Army
• Chief of Air Force
• Chief People Officer
• Chief Joint Defence Services
• Deputy Secretary Policy & Planning, Ministry of Defence
• Chief Defence Strategy Management
• Assistant Chief Capability
• Chief Financial Officer, Ministry of Defence
