Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister of Health: Does the Minister agree with Shane Reti’s statement that a National Government “won’t undertake major structural change on day one;” and if so, does he still intend to introduce legislation to disestablish the Māori Health Authority within the National Party’s first 100 days in Office, as outlined in the National Party’s ‘100 Day Action Plan’ document?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: Yes I agree with that statement and yes, it is the Government's intention to introduce legislation to disestablish the Māori Health Authority as part of our 100-day plan.
