30087 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: How, if at all, has the number of staff assigned to work out of the Head Office changed over the past 12 months for each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for the Vote Prime Minister and Cabinet and the responsible Minister for DPMC. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I am not the Minister responsible for the Vote. I am advised that the number of staff assigned to work out of Wellington has not changed.
