Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Has Kainga Ora communicated with any tenants that their houses are intended to be sold or demolished since 27 November 2023, and if so, on what date(s) were these communications, through which method were these communications, and what was the nature of each of these communications?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that it does not centrally record the number of its customers who were advised that their homes were to be sold or demolished. To provide this information would take substantial effort and in accordance with Speakers Rulings I consider that the time, and hence the expense, of answering this question cannot be justified.
