Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Does the Minister intend to progress adding security to protect Emergency Department staff as he outlined on Newstalk ZB on the 28th of November, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aides-memoire, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office received on this by title and date?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: Yes, and I have had numerous discussions and advice from officials to advance this worthwhile policy.
