30053 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Resources: Will the National-led Government make any changes to decommissioning laws introduced by the previous government to protect New Zealand taxpayers from being liable to pay for fossil fuel extraction clean up costs?

Hon Shane Jones: I am currently focused on delivering key priorities in the Government’s 100 Day Plan. The Government intends to deliver all commitments in the coalition agreements, and I intend to progress work on this matter in 2024.
