29909 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: How many graduate positions, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, as of 1 December 2022?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Ministry of Transport did not allocate specific graduate positions during November 2022 and November 2023. Advisers appointed on band 14 of the Ministry’s remuneration structure were commonly new graduates from university with limited working experience in relevant fields. NZTA had the following graduate positions as at 1 December 2022: Emerging Professionals Programme - 23
