Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Local Government: What criteria, if any, will the Minister apply in approving matters that arise during the drafting of the Local Government (Water Services) Order in Council that may be required to align with the funding impact statement decisions, and will the Minister report those decisions to the Cabinet Legislation Committee before the regulations are made?

Hon Simon Watts: The final decisions were previously reported to the Cabinet Legislation Committee when the final regulations were made and will be proactively released on the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport website.
