Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Immigration: Does the Minister intend to "decouple visas from a specific employer to stop migrant exploitation" and instead bond people to sectors and regions as outlined in the National Party's 'Covid Contribution Visa' plan in August 2021, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aides-memoire, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office commissioned on this by title and date?

Hon Erica Stanford: I have received a briefing from MBIE on the immigration portfolio and I am looking forward to receiving further briefings from senior MBIE officials on the policies outlined in the National Party Manifesto and agreements between the National Party and its coalition partners.
