Rt Hon Winston Peters: Consular assistance was provided to the families of all individuals. Support was also provided to the individuals themselves, where this was requested, by New Zealand's embassies in Rome (accredited to Greece) and Ankara. Details of the consular assistance provided to individual New Zealanders is personal information which we are unable to disclose. However, the Ministry can confirm that the assistance provided was in accordance with policies set out on the SafeTravel website and included engagement with local authorities and providing regular updates to family members.
