29668 (2023). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Energy: What is the purpose of the Government's investigation into the threshold at which local lines companies can invest in generation assets, and when will it be concluded?

Hon Simeon Brown: The purpose of the Government's investigation of the threshold at which local lines companies can invest in generation assets is to ensure the threshold is optimal for competition, reliability and efficiency in the relevant markets. I am currently focused on delivering key priorities in the Government’s 100 Day Plan.  The Government intends to deliver its commitments in the coalition agreements.
