29648 (2026). Dan Rosewarne to the Minister of Police: Which New Zealand importers, if any; have been issued import permits for manually operated centrefire "push-button", "lever-release", or similar manually actuated repeating rifles between 1 January 2023 and 14 June 2026?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that between 1 January 2023 and 14 June 2026, a total of eight licence holders were issued permits to import “push button”, “lever release” or “straight pull” rifles, which includes two individual licence holders and six dealers. I am not providing the names of those licence holders because doing so would disclose personal information about identifiable individuals.
