29632 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: What are the current capabilities of Police’s Digital Notebook?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that key capabilities of Digital Notebook includes enabling frontline officers to capture a timeline record of policing activities conducted, including text, statements, signatures, sketches, and photographs (not video) relating to those activities. Digital Notebook is available on iPhone and desktop devices. It is integrated with other core police software applications, including OnDuty and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) to enable relevant content, such as Person and Vehicle queries, and dispatch information to be automatically added to an officer’s Digital Notebook.
