29624 (2026). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Associate Minister of Education: What was the average cost of lunches before the Healthy School Lunches programme was revised in October, and what is the average meal cost after the Healthy School Lunches programme was revised in 2024?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that in Term 4, 2024, school lunches cost up to $8.68 per student. In Term 4, 2025, the weighted average meal cost across all suppliers is $3.58.
