Vanushi Walters to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: What steps, if any, will the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade take to ensure that any medical or forensic records obtained on behalf of the New Zealand citizens who participated in the Global Sumud Flotilla and were detained in May 2026 are usable for whatever medical, legal, or accountability purposes those citizens may wish to pursue?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade's consular division has not received any requests for assistance in this regard.
