Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister for the Public Service and Digitising Government: Did Public Service Commission officials have any communication with Ministry of Housing and Urban Development officials prior to 1 July 2024 about the then Chief Executive of Kāinga Ora's concerns about accusations made about him by Hon Nicola Willis and Hon Chris Bishop, and if so, for each such communication, who was involved, on what date and what was the topic or purpose?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that on 17 April 2024 HUD and PSC officials had a conversation about a range of priorities for HUD at that time which included the independent review of Kāinga Ora. In this context, a HUD official noted knowledge of the then Chief Executive of Kāinga Ora's concerns.
