29577 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister for Regional Development: Further to reply 24306 (2026), following Hurunui District Council's decision to cancel the Conical Hill Flyline, how much Infrastructure Reference Group funding, if any, has been returned to the Crown?

Hon Shane Jones: Kānoa – Regional Economic Development & Investment Unit (Kānoa) is currently undertaking the contract closure process. Any unspent funding will remain with the fund’s administrator, Kānoa, and could be reprioritised and reallocated, or returned by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment to Treasury, as required.
