29571 (2024). Tamatha Paul to the Minister of Housing: How many Kāinga Ora developments, if any, have been cancelled, paused, or put under review due a decision taken by this Government, by number of projects and the number of units?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – advises me that it is currently working through its uncommitted pipeline of around 2,000 homes for FY25 deliveries on a region-by-region basis to ensure FY25 targets are met. All contracted work with construction already underway is still going ahead. Specific developments are operational matters for Kainga Ora. At any point in time there will be a range of projects being rephased or paused or not proceeding due to a range of factors.
