Hon David Seymour: I refer the Member to the attached table showing the number of Early Childhood Education (ECE) Centres open in New Zealand as at 9 June 2025, broken down by region. The data is based on timely and accurate information provided to the Ministry of Education. ECE centres include the following services: • Casual-Education and Care • Education and Care Services • Free Kindergarten • Homebased Network • Hospital based • Playcentre • Te Kōhanga Reo. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 29569, 29570 and 29571 (2025).
