Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that data is not collected in that manner, however I can advise that, based on claims and invoice data collected over the past four years, officials estimate at least 15% of claims can be clearly linked to sports club participation. It is likely that this understates the true level of club involvement, as a significant proportion of funding was used to purchase equipment (e.g. boots, rackets, uniforms), which often serves as a prerequisite for club participation.
