Hon Erica Stanford: The consultation document, Changes to Funding for Resource Teachers Literacy and Resource Teachers Māori, did not ask respondents to note whether they were in favour of reinvesting or retaining funding for Resource Teachers: Literacy, or Resource Teachers: Māori. Instead, stakeholders were given the opportunity to share their insights and feedback on the proposal. All feedback received during the consultation process was carefully considered during the decision-making process.
