29528 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Justice: Has the Minister sought any advice in relation to concerns raised about the conduct of Human Rights Commission chief commissioner Dr Stephen Rainbow, if so, what was the nature of this advice?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: As I have made public, there is currently an investigation underway by a King’s Counsel into concerns raised with me about the Chief Commissioner. In accordance with the principles of fair process and natural justice for the parties involved, it would be inappropriate for me to comment any further at this point.
