29525 (2024). Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport: What is the timeframe, if any, for the completion of the SH1 Second Mt Victoria Tunnel and Basin Reserve upgrade?

Hon Simeon Brown: An investigation into the long tunnel option is currently underway and NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi advises me that the timeframe for this project will be updated in the second half of 2024, once a decision on the high-level scope of the project is made.
