29523 (2024). Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport: How much housing, if any, will be enabled by the construction of SH1 Second Mt Victoria Tunnel and Basin Reserve upgrade?

Hon Simeon Brown: As the Member will be aware, unlocking housing development and supporting intensification is an expected outcome of the draft Government Policy Statement on land transport 2024. Changes to land use and subsequent increases in the number of households that may occur as a result of a Second Mt Victoria Tunnel will be subject to scope determination.
