29510 (2024). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: What advice, reports, briefings, aide-memoires, risk-registers, or any other documents, if any, has the Prime Minister or any member of their Office received during the week of 27 May 2024, by title and date?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I received the following documents from
27 May - 31 May 2024 from my officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC):
• Proactive release relating to ministerial conflicts of interest – 28 May 2024
• Ministerial Satisfaction Survey – Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet's Performance in 2023/24 – 29 May 2024
• Prime Minister Weekly – 29 May 2024
I also received one document on 28 May 2024 however, it is not in the public interest to release the title of this document.
In addition, jointly with the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I have received the following document:
• North Island Weather Event: Progress Update on Categorisation and Buyouts, Sediment and Debris Infrastructure and Local Transport Projects - 31 May 2024.
I have received briefings from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, during the requested timeframe however I am not releasing the titles of these briefings.
Furthermore, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
