Hon Penny Simmonds: The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) provided analysis on the impact of removing final-year Fees Free on underserved student groups as part of their advice on the Budget 2026 Vote Tertiary Education package. The Ministry will proactively release material from the Budget process relating to Fees Free in due course.
