Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Rail: Has Treasury modelled the potential long-term savings in lives, injuries, and insurance/public liability costs from upgrading level crossing signage, given a WSP study’s suggestion that compliance nearly doubles with additional warning signs, and if so, what does that modelling suggest?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: Treasury advise it has not done any modelling of upgrading level crossing signage following the WSP study.
