29431 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Associate Minister of Police: Further to 13275 (2024); what is the maximum number of new frontline police that government can deliver within two years?

Hon Casey Costello: The Royal New Zealand Police College can currently accommodate 800 recruits per year. Under this circumstance and in the absence of attrition, the maximum number of new frontline police within two years is 1600.
